Mark took the opportunity to work some more on the basement project. Since this photo was taken he has also hung the insulation and is ready to drywall.
Saturday we picked out our Christmas tree and let it settle in to its new surroundings.
Then we decided we just could not be outdone by the Billmeier's. So, we headed to the Bruce barn and taught Sheba a few country dance moves...Send your own ElfYourself eCards
Mark and Sheba are so exhausted from all the dancing they can barely stay awake to hang the lights on the tree!

Hopefully we can finish the lights and other decorations today!

Stephanie,
Clearly, the center is the Hoosier State. I shall call it the making of a "Midwestern Middle". Or less eloquent, "Don't forget to put the Hoosier Hole in the middle of the pie."
Happy Thanksgiving, Lori
Wow! You guys have been incredibly busy. Little Sheba looks so cute decked out in Christmas lights! And I love the crib! Thanks for sharing the prayer list, Stephanie.
I wanted to guess the center crust is an elephant...is that close? But then that doesn't really make sense...I guess I just like elephants a lot and it looks like one to me.
We love you.

Congratulations on your homemade pies! They looked yummy from the pics! I love the picture of Sheba asleep by the lights...too cute!
Glad you had a nice Thanksgiving!
Sheba dancing is hilarious! I concur with Lori...the shape is that of Indiana. But, at first I was thinking you would have put a Ball State Cardinal in the middle!
Oh my gosh! I just died laughing at the elf thing. Thank you for the laugh. :)
And I totally thought the center of the pie was a leaf. :/
Beautiful tree! Puts our $19.99 Target special to shame!
thank you so much for your comment! I so appreciate your thoughts! :) And I would LOVE to shoot photos with you sometime!!! Do you have Facebook? :) :) PS that pie looks DELISH!!
