So, I've been collecting some digital scrapbooking kits and finally decided to spend some time putting a page together. Here it is. Hopefully I'll get better the more I do. When you receive our Christmas cards, you'll get to see some more of my handy work.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I made and sent out Thanksgiving cards to family this week. I made a few variations, so here is a photo of each one. Hope you all enjoyed the card you received! I had a lot of fun making them. It's hard to tell in the photo, but the bottom left card has leaves embossed on the cream paper. We wish we could be with you all on this Thanksgiving Day. We are thinking of you and are thankful we have you in our lives.

Balloon Festival

Saturday Mark & I went to the hot air balloon festival with Nicky, Clinton, and CK's parents. Hot air balloons are commonly seen in the mornings here. That is the one thing I enjoy about my morning commute. :) If you want to see more photos, click the Balloon Festival Photos link to the right...

Missing Fall

Mark and I are really missing the midwest right now! We live in the desert... there just aren't any pretty fall leaves to admire. The closest thing we have is a cactus that is losing its needles. HA! Our friends, Chad & LouAnn, sent us a photo from Freeport. Thanks guys!!

Our Niece

Avery Ann turned ONE on September 25th. I emailed my brother and told him we hadn't seen any photos of her lately and he immediately sent me a link to shutterfly. I love instant gratification! Here is one of the photos from his album. Don't you just love her party hat? :)
