We traveled to Dallas for a few days during Christmas. During our stay we enjoyed lots of good food, 10 rounds of Puerto Rico, and many movies! For those of you who have never met Mark's parents, let me introduce you...

...now you have officially met. :)

Our next Christmas celebration was dinner out with Matt & Ashli, but alas we have no photos of that event. Just believe me when I say we enjoyed yummy food and quality time together.
Our final get together was with Jason, Jenny, Avery, and my mom (AKA: Grandma Sylvia). One highlight of our time together was hearing Avery pronounce my name. We all know S's are difficult to say, but she has mastered Aunt Stephanie. Yay!

Notice the "costume" change? I think she changed one more time that night into her new monkey pajamas from Grandma. The best was when she convinced her mom into changing into her new monkey pajamas too. LOL!
New Year's day we enjoyed our traditional stuffed cabbage and bean soup lunch that Jason prepared. Later that afternoon we babysat Avery so J&J could enjoy a movie out. Shortly after hearing, "I don't want to take a nap but please read me some books" Avery fell asleep with Sheba guarding over her.
And that was the end of our long holiday break. Hope you enjoyed the recap!

Sheba and Avery "take the cake." I can't pull away from that last photo. Doctor Reverend Dad and Mrs. Mom are still basking in the joy of having Christmas "visitors" from Indy. Thanks, Stephanie, for the recap.
I'm glad you had a nice Christmas! Looking forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks at book club!
Sounds like a very nice Christmas. I'm sure no one would think to bother Avery with her 'Guard Dog' standing by. :)
that last pic is priceless! glad to hear other kids go through as many clothes as we do. sadly, with keith, its because they are actually dirty!
