Sheba has been a great nurse this past week. I hurt my back last Wednesday and was pretty much recliner ridden through the weekend. She stayed by my side most of the time and every once in awhile would put her head on the recliner arm and just stare up at me as if to say, "Are you feeling ok yet? Wanna play?" Of course my real caregiver was Mark but Sheba watched over me when he was busy preparing soup or on a quick trip to Lowes.
Here she is about as close to the Christmas tree as she'll go.

And just for fun here is a squiggly picture of our tree.

Is Sheba scared of the tree, or just won't go near it b/c she's not supposed to? Where did you get the squiggly christmas tree lights? ha ha.
I hope your back is feeling better now! That is no fun! I'm glad Sheba was good company for you!
What a neat perspective of Sheba--I love the close-up with the light in the distance. The garland above the window is so Christmasy.

I have now posted my first comment on all of the blogs that I have to look at! Exciting!! I hope your back is feeling better. That stinks to be laid up all weekend - although not if it means that your hubby waited on you and took care of you. Ha Ha!
Hope you're feeling better Stephanie! So, was that your view of the tree from the recliner? And did pain meds make the lights all squiggly? :) Kim
Your home looks so pretty! So quaint and homey!
Not like, "yo, you my homey..."
But like chicken n dumplins will be ready in a minute, to eat by the fireside, homey. :)
Maybe that is homie. Nope, that doesn't look right either...
Oh well, it's lovely! :)
