Here are a few before pictures and a few that show Mark's demolition process. I believe he has one more layer of the floor to take out because there is water damage and then we'll have to figure out how to remove the old tub. Bob Villa always made everything look so easy...

This is definitely a "This old house" project. As Dad reminds us, Nothing is ever simple (e.g., layers of damaged flooring). You'll have something to be proud of though in the end. Enjoy the transformation.

Yikes! Does Mark know what he's doing??? I'm sure he does, but I'm just picturing Brian doing the same job and it would surely end up with complete destruction of the entire house.
Fun! I love home renovation. I hope you post the "after" photos.
Peeper - of course Mark knows what he is doing...to an extent. LOL! Remember, he did finish our basement in Freeport almost single handedly. ;-)
Amanda - yep, I will make sure to post the "after" photos. Mark estimates he'll be working on this project thru June due to his travel schedule.
Of course there was a little help with the Freeport basement... our paint sprayer.. hahaha. When we see what a great job Mark will do, he can come and do our bathroom. Julie
